weeds: en smule kvikgræs, masser af snerler, brændenælder (ikke så mange)

Observationer på GÆSTER, hvordan bruger de haven?

Observationer på MØNSTRE
seasons: not a lot of snow, in the early march we can start harvesting the first malva, vårsalat, skt hans urt, stinging nettle. Idea: have some under fiberdug to get an even earlier crop, have some in the greenhouse for the winter.
succesions, people, plants, trees
arbejdsindsats, hvordan, hvornår
sector analysis, slope
sewing beds are used for dust bath by the pheasants and for toilet by the cats!!

Observationer på BARRIERS
Lack of competence, learning by doing, takes more time, frustration, impatience
time limitation, many things going on

Observation på RESSOURCES
inspiration for people, to show a way where beauty and abundance is produced with no chemical fertiliser, no too much “hard work”, no pesticides, lots of fun, loads of yields

GOOG ENOGH FOR NOW, SAFE ENOUGH TO TRY!!

Analysis of barriers and resources:

BARRIERS
messy, untidy
hard and dry soil
time limitations
limited knowledge of plants
all plants in the garden must have some healing qualities
we need big scaled drawings of the beds
we have not yet been succesfull on kommen and spidskommen

annuals and biannual together with perennials, shrubs and trees

RESOURCES
Lou has already been working with the functionality beds during the spring of 2015 and made out maps that v´can be used as base maps: the exiting plants are recorded and which can easily bed moved and got from somewhere
Scaled drwings made by Vincent in July, are on the computer
good knowledge of soil and composting
a lot of jordforbedring has already happened
We have plant lists, we just need to finish them, we do not need to start all over
We have a format og signs that work, we just need to make the tool for planting the sign, and riding it when it is tipped over
we have tools
we have a lot of organic material
people will come and join on a working day and move plants
good knowledge and experience of arranging events, no panic about many people coming
good planners
Hampus knows a lot about the trees
WE have room for the formation of plants, the plant tables, the green house, the outdoor spaces
We have experience on using the plants for tes, pesto, bread, all kinds of foods, cremes, vodka tinctures
The garden challenges and inspires in relation to traditional garden ethics – we do not use poison, no tiling, not so much lawn mowing, not firs everywhere
we have wwoof´ers
er have a design!!
We have 19 snapseplanter
nigelle/sortkommen has grown successfully for several seasons

EVALUATION
First step is to make a map for the work with the fi+unctionality beds

More organic material needs to be added
move the plants at the right time
use a little time every day on design, add in Lis
plan a “move the plants day”
what we do not succeed in moving now we k´can finish up in the spring
there is an even longer time horizon
Many many plants actually have a healing potential, also many perennials
